Ever dreamed of living in the USA?
Well, you've got it - you have won a GREEN CARD!
Congratulations, but now you need to start thinking
about where you're going to live!
TASK

You are a family consisting of a father, a mother and 2 children.
You need to decide where you are going to live and, most importantly, how you are going to do it.

PROCESS

You are moving to the USA, but you haven't decided where.

1. Which of the 50 states are you going to move to?

Consider the following data:

* Average salary

* Unemployment rate

* Criminality rates

* Weather

2. How are you going to get there? You need to book your plane tickets

3. You need to find accommodation - look for a house

4. The children must go to school. Choose one in your area

5. How are you going to get around? You must buy a car

6. What about entertainment? Are there any shopping centers, cinemas, restaurants or gyms in your area?

7. What's there to see in your area? Make a list of the places to see when your family from Spain come and visit you.

ASSESSMENT

You are expected to distribute the work to do but at the same time agree on the best option, according to your preferences.
You will have to explain the reason for your choices and tell the class a little about the area you have chosen to live in.
